What is Kybella®?
Kybella® is a prescription medicine, deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat cells.
How Kybella® Works
Kybella® injections destroy fat cells and make it impossible for them to reaccumulate, so once you have reached your desired aesthetic, further treatment is unnecessary. The fullness under your chin is noticeably reduced even after your first treatment.
What To Expect With Kybella®
At each one of your treatments, small injections are administered under the chin area. The amount of injections depends on the amount of fat cells in that area. This process takes approximately 15-20 mins depending on the number of injections.
After your treatment, you may have some swelling, numbness and bruising under your chin area. Other than that, you won’t have any downtime.
What is SculpSure®?
Sculpsure® is a non-invasive laser treatment that melts fat. SculpSure® can be used on the love handles, lower abdomen, and any place on the body that fat accumulates and the laser head reaches.
How SculpSure® Works
Laser energy is used to target and heat fat cells underneath the skin, without invading or affecting the surface of the skin. The fat cell’s temperature is then increased by the laser until their structural integrity is damaged. Over the next few months, the damaged fat cells are eliminated and removed organically by your body’s lymphatic system. These fat cells will not regenerate once removed.
What To Expect With SculpSure®
At the beginning of your treatment you will feel a slight cooling sensation to help the body remain comfortable during the entire treatment. You also will feel a deep warmth within your body, but it’s usually not too uncomfortable.
